It is OPAg’s mandate to provide agricultural extension and on-site research services and facilities which include reducing disaster risk in the agriculture and fishery sector, prevention and control of plant pests and diseases; plant nurseries and demonstration farms; assistance in the organization of farmers and fishermen’s cooperative and other collective organizations; and industrial research and development services as well as the transfer of appropriate technologies.

A Gift of Hope and Progress: Camarines Norte Unites for the President's Empowering Service Initiative

In a powerful show of unity, compassion, and progress, Camarines Norte proudly joined the nationwide rollout of “Handog ng Pangulo, Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” on September 13, 2024, reinforcing the Marcos administration’s commitment to inclusive development and sustainable livelihoods.

Held at the Agro Sports Center in Daet, the event was a convergence of government agencies, local leaders, and community members with a singular goal: to deliver comprehensive assistance to farmers, fisherfolk, and vulnerable sectors across the province.

Forging Stronger Partnerships, Sustaining Progress: Advancing PAFES Implementation for Resilient Agriculture in Camarines Norte

In a significant move towards fostering sustainable agricultural development, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Bicol once again demonstrated its commitment to the Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES) by providing a substantial ₱700,000.00 financial support, alongside cutting-edge ICT equipment for 2024. This generous contribution marks a critical milestone in the second year of PAFES’ implementation in Camarines Norte, reinforcing the province’s efforts towards modernizing agriculture and enhancing the livelihoods of its farmers.
 
The official turnover of this support took place on August 29, 2024, at the Governor’s Office, Provincial Capitol Building in Daet, with Hon. Governor Ricarte R. Padilla and ATI Bicol Center Director Elsa Ani Parot at the helm of the ceremony. The event was graced by prominent stakeholders,

“Sa bawat pag-tap at pag-swipe, ang mga magsasaka ay humuhubog ng isang mas maliwanag at masaganang bukas.”
 
Matagumpay na naisagawa ang tatlong (3) araw na pagsasanay para sa dalawang (2) batch ng Digital Farmers Program (DFP). Ang unang batch ay ginanap sa Municipal Agriculture Office, Mercedes, Camarines Norte noong Oktubre 16-18, 2025, at ang ikalawang batch naman ay sa Batobalani Barangay Hall, Paracale, Camarines Norte noong Nobyembre 13-15, 2025. Nilahukan ito ng tig-dalawampu’t limang (25) magsasaka mula sa mga bayan ng Mercedes at Paracale.
 
Sa pagsasanay, itinuro sa mga magsasaka ang paggamit ng iba’t ibang mobile applications tulad ng Binhing Palay, Leaf Color Chart, Minus One Element Technique (MOET),
